Website Intern 2026 Position Description

We are looking for an intern with experience in website design, both technical skills as well as graphic sensibilities. Human first use of AI is encouraged. 

 

Compensation: $25/hr. capped at 12 hours per month and paid monthly.

 

We require you to have your own computer, smart phone, internet access and an accessible work space you can comfortably work in. The work schedule is totally flexible provided you can meet as needed with your supervisor/mentor at a mutually acceptable time.  Being self directed and able to manage your own efforts while keeping projects on track is a requirement. 

 

Work focus for which experience is required or at least strongly preferred (in no particular order) 

 

Website updates (without changing our hosting provider - https://krystal.io/ - where our current website is built on one of their “Website Builder” templates, and we are open to which program our site is built in such Wordpress) to include graphics/pictures, copy, functionality, plug-ins, and pop ups, back links, weekly blog posts (no content creation required), and suggested organic search for both Google and AI. 

 

Reports to Ajax Greene on Zoom or in person as preferred (we will prioritize goals as needed so the intern will have clarity on expectations within time constraints, Ajax will be available for questions as needed). Based on the intern’s preferences, mentoring and future job growth opportunities are included.This position is at will, and ongoing for the foreseeable future.   

 

Possible additional work possible depending on the interns skills and our budget.
